Actually it took way more mind job to justify this work than to make it.
Well, I needed something deep to say when my mom asks me about visiting any anoying distant relative.

Welcome to my blog!
I dedicate this first post to that few people I love the most.
(Now you can stop pushing me right?)
When I published the very short Gif image with the message: “Back in Two Weeks”, I’ve never thought it would take that long, 2 years actually, time enough to gather much of my short timed but yet intense experience as “Generalist Designer” (self proclaimed).
From business card to complex product design, I’ve experienced it all. However I’ve never had the chance to share my work, and that means a serious issue if your work depends on visuals to be evaluate.
I’ve tried several times to set a printed portfolio, but due to it’s coasts and the “updating” nature of my carrier, it never came to happen.
So, Internet was definitely the answer for my problems, and after some time planning, by late 2005’s, I finally publish my first personal web page.
A Very simple html structure, tables and images… Not handy at all, but I was surely following the right path, and for a time it was good…
Updating content for me was such a hassle; it used to take hours to set the image sizes, organize the tables and often to create additional pages every time I had something new to publish. And as you may guess, it didn’t work much longer, and I quit the whole thing after 6 months suffering.
I never meant to quit for good, I still believe that Internet was such as good as I need but not the way I did.
Few months later I sunk my home page and published in place, a very friendly message saying: “back in 2 weeks”.
Well, now here I am 2 years later dealing no longer with a primitive html table based, but a very handy and easy to update blog.
This whole Web 2.0 concept is very exciting, the idea of users interacting with content sounds very productive, not to mention funny, so I’m pretty sure I’ve finally make it. I’m able now to show my work and yet have instant feedback, critics, compliments and also valuable advices.
I intend to run this blog not only as an ordinary description of my academic and practical skills, but also a forum in which I can relay as a source for “good practices” in order to become a more complete professional.
